A note while the site is being refreshed:

I started at Wired in '95 when the internet was going 0→1. Spent 20 years building marketing teams at Razorfish and Sapient, then Senior Partner at Korn Ferry, where I saw what traditional search misses: they assess credentials, not transformation capability.

I founded The Montgomery Group in 2014 because the partner/associate handoff model loses context. The vision is simple and outcomes-focused: buy the partner, get the partner. No associates, no information lost in translation.

I find polymaths: leaders with a builder mindset and cross-disciplinary thinking who transform organizations, not just manage them.

The proof is in outcomes: placements average 4+ years (1.6x the industry standard) and 42% get promoted within their organizations (3x the industry benchmark). Those numbers don't happen by accident.

Clients include Fortune 500 companies (Intel, Disney, Target), PE/VC firms (Shamrock Capital, BIP Ventures), and agencies/consultancies (McCann, MRM, MediaMonks).

Site refresh wraps up early 2025.
